e-Nirman –An Online Project Monitoring System of Works Department, Govt. of Odisha
e-Nirman is a step forward in implementation of e-Governance by the State government and it is an integrated online project monitoring system to monitor execution of projects in a most effective manner. The government seems to ensure greater transparency and accountability and help completing the projects in a time bound manner and increase efficiency to the citizens. This system is said to track the physical and financial progress of works pertaining to different Chief Engineers, Circles and Divisions. It will also ensure over viewing the projects in districts, blocks and constituencies. In the first phase of implementation of the project this system will be made accessible to all office bearers starting from the Secretariat to the Division Level. In the second phase, it is envisaged to extend facilities to Sub-division level and provide a citizen interface. The e-Nirman will ensure project monitoring starting from the budgetary allocation, allotment of funds, calling of tenders, award of contracts, progress of work and expenditure thereon. This system will also be able to monitor progress of works both physical and financial, head-wise, monthly, quarterly and on yearly basis.

UNICEF is a non government organization. It was created with a motto to work with others to overcome the obstacles that poverty, violence, disease and discrimination place in a child’s path. It is functional to alleviate the problem of maternal and infant under nutrition and to curb the high rates the maternal mortality. The software aims to assist in tracking and ensuring payment of respective tranches to the beneficiaries as and when they fulfill the condition and the AWWs sponsor them, keeping necessary checks as to avoid excess payments and payment delays. The software also supports the functionaries at different levels in managing and monitoring the financial and programmatic component of the scheme. The software ensures: 1. Connection of the database across all 338 projects across the State. 2. Use of systems to make programme management to be MIS oriented. The aim is to make the use of the present day technology and software to manage the conditional cash transfers as per the scheme. 3. Managing the database of all beneficiaries at the central level, because it is a Cash Transfer scheme. 4. Help the scheme implementers to follow the same process across all projects. Various analytical and graphical reports generated from the application will help the Women & Child Development Department in taking strategic decisions relating to Budget decisions for MAMATA Scheme. Based on the analysis reports relating to beneficiary registrations, funds would be granted to projects.

Drug Inventory Management System for National Rural Health Mission
Odisha Drugs Inventory Management System (ODMIS) is a complete online inventory management system. It is a comprehensive online system to monitor the inventory of drugs and consumables at different drug warehouses. This System facilitates to manage the inventory of the drugs and consumables on a day to day basis for taking care of the supply chain management of drug warehouses accurately and efficiently. It keeps track of the purchases, stock, Indents, issues at different levels, transfers between warehouses and above all, the drugs to be expired. The various kinds of reports generated help to make timely decisions and appropriate actions towards smooth operation of drug distributions leading to the utmost satisfaction of the patients at the health institutions. Now ODMIS is implemented in 35 health institutions i.e 32 DHSs and 3 Medical College & Hospital warehouses and the Central Drug Store located at Bhubaneswar. It is proposed to be extended upto CHC (Block) level by the end of this month. This system is very useful for the Department of Health and Family Welfare as it minimizes the wastage of drugs and consumables.

The State Human Rights Commission was constituted vide Notification No.11/HRC-20/2009-7105 dated 29.06.2010 of Department of Home, Government of Jharkhand, Ranchi. It came into existence on 19.01.2011 vide notification no. 195 on 15.01.2011. The Commission is functional towards protection of fundamental human rights.
